Servers push heated metal carts right past the table, so you won't need to guess what looks good from a distance. When a steaming basket catches your eye, grab it and see where the meal takes you.
Because each dish comes in small portions of three or four, you can try around 10 to 15 different dishes in one sitting. Expect a whole lineup of flavors and textures, from cloud-like bread to delicate wrappers holding rich, savory broth. The name dim sum means "touch the heart," which feels fitting for a meal made for sharing.
